Borum design is a full-service interior design studio offering design, concept consulting and development, branding and construction management.
Discovery
At the beginning of your project, we will ask you initial questions to learn more about your design goals and needs. Whether on the phone, via email, or in person, we will go out of our ways to gain full insight for your project.
Space planing & Design Concept
Once we have full understanding of the scope of your project, we begin exploring creative concepts that we will work with and reference throughout the design process. While some of the ideas presented during this phase are high-level, they will fuel the inspiration for more concrete design decisions that will be made down the road.
Design Development
During this phase, we shift from the conceptual and the abstract down to the specifics. We finalize the floor plans, and design the architectural features, finishes, and electrical fixtures.
Permit & Plancheck
We manage due diligence, plan review filing and follow through until permit issuance. We will be at the forefront of the permit expediting process and provide all permitting requirements for the project until the permit is issued and delivered.
Purchase & Construction Management
We consolidate and reserve all items until installation. We set a firm installation date during this phase, and we work with the contractor from start to finish, in case of a construction within your project.
Installation
To make your experience as seamless as possible, we consolidate installation to a 2-3 day period. Our in-house stylists and designers oversee the installation of your furniture, accessories, and art.
Staging
Curated by staging team to select and install your art, and accessories in as little as 7 days. Simply everything you need to move right in, available for rent or purchase.
