Office Design Build / Full Interior Design Service

After the success of North Point's San Francisco office, Borum was sought after by North Point Advisors for their new office located in New York City. The design follows a language of the global brand's offices, yet exists as a unique gem in the heart of the emerging business district in Manhattan. The space is designed to evoke unique views, authentic textures, and an energetic yet sophisticated atmosphere. Though the location is fairly modest, the characters of the office is divided into six different zones that provide unique experiences such as open office, a focus lounge, commons, and an office wing with a meeting room, micro-offices, and a private office. This workplace features many custom-made aspects throughout that make proper moments that works for the users. The kitchen cabinets are thoughtfully designed for everyday use while maintaining a perfect blend of minimalism and functionality. Walnut wood accents were added to the portal creating a scrum-lounge space for versatility whether its a one-to-one meeting point or private focus seating. The micro-offices are framed by custom sliding glass doors made of dark bronze frames, channeled walnut wood, and fluted/smoked glass. The doors were contrived to be viewed as large-scale art that seamlessly blend in with the office wing, providing acoustic and visual privacy; but also allowing constant flow of light between spaces.
